I’ve spent years waiting.

Waiting for schedules to line up.

Waiting for someone to say yes.

Waiting for friends or family who wanted to travel the way I did—or who would actually make the trip better instead of more stressful.

Eventually, I realized something.

If I kept waiting for the perfect travel partner, I might never see the places I’d been dreaming about.

So I stopped waiting.

My first solo cruise is to the Bahamas, and while it’s my first trip alone, I know it won’t be my last.
